An artist's journey is one of never ending learning. Over the years, I have created numerous paintings and with time and experience, my visual perception has changed. One of the most fascinating things about being an artist, is when you begin to see the world in terms of light, shapes, values and colors. When I came to understand that process, my work became an expression of myself. The journey has been fascinating and the results, deeply satisfying.

"One of the joys of life is the ability to create a vision that can be seen and enjoyed", says June Davis. Throughout her career, Davis has shared her creative visions as both an artist and a teacher.

Davis earned a B.A. from California State University, L.A. and a M.Ed. from Georgia State University. She has illustrated educational materials and taught school in Colorado and Georgia. She has worked in a variety of media. Her chosen media are oil and pastels, which she uses to create still lifes, figures and cityscapes.
Davis' paintings have earned her many awards and are found in private collections here and abroad. She paints and teaches from her studio in Golden, Colorado.
